Community involvement is an important part of business.
In addition to our work as a law firm, we seek to contribute to our community
by sharing our knowledge with other professionals and donating to local organizations.

No-Shave November
November 2023
Each November, attorneys and staff members from Rodnunsky & Associates participate in a "No-Shave November" event to raise money for a local charity. In the past we have raised money for Hope Rescue Mission and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), located in the San Fernando Valley.
This year's event raised $7240 for Sanando Corazones, a non-profit organization located in Santa Clarita, CA, dedicated to helping women and children who are trapped in domestic violence home situations. Sanando Corazones serves women and children in Southern California through bilingual education, support groups, one-on-one counseling, court advocacy, case management, community outreach, and resources, both in English and Spanish.

Dignity Awards Gala

Attorneys and staff from Rodnunsky & Associates were proud supporters of MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) at this year's Dignity Awards Gala, held on October 19 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
MEND provides programs and services to help meet the immediate crisis needs of people. They then are supported in developing connections, skills and resources to address and overcome long-term challenges that have kept them from thriving. Core services are provided by the Foodbank, Homeless Care Services and Here We Thrive.

Attorney Dimitrios Saroukos is a member and long-time supporter of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church's Steve Manios Sr. Golf Tournament.
Mr. Saroukos, Mr. Pierre Rodnunsky, Mr. Christian Ziegler and Mr. Rob Miles (Rodnunsky & Associates) were table and tee box sponsors for the tournament, as well as participants.

Super Lawyers
Attorneys Yevgeny Belous, Shannon DeBiase and Caren Nielsen have all been rated as Super Lawyers®, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Mr. Belous has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star® for the years 2018 – 2023. Ms. DeBiase has been named Super Lawyers Rising Star® each year from 2009-2020. She was also named to Southern California Super Lawyers® in 2022 and 2023. Ms. Nielsen has consistently been named to Southern California Super Lawyers® since 2008, and has been ranked among the Top 50 Women attorneys in Southern California.

Attorneys Yevgeny Belous and Greg Lederman are keynote speakers, addressing roles and relationships between professional fiduciaries and attorneys.
Mr. Belous and Mr. Lederman are experts in Guardianships, Special Needs Trusts, Conservatorships, Probate, and Litigation.
Supporting Local Needs
Attorney Robert S. Miles is a long-time supporter of Walk to End Alzheimer's, Raising Hope and New Horizons.
Walk to End Alzheimer's is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide. It is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
Raising Hope is a local nonprofit organization that supports teens and young adults experiencing foster care through mentoring, life skills, housing navigation, transportation, and financial support.
New Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs (age 16 and older) to reach their full potential and fulfill their dreams. Founded in 1954 by eight parents whose children had special needs, the agency has evolved to provide services and support each year to more than 1,100 individuals throughout the greater San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.
Valley Greek Festival
Attorney Dimitrios Saroukos is a member and long-time supporter of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, and the Valley Greek Festival. Mr. Saroukos and his family sponsor and volunteer at the Loukoumathes booth (Greek donut holes) each year.
The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Annual Greek Festival takes place in Northridge on Memorial Day Weekend. The festival evokes the sights, sounds and tastes that define the traditional Greek way of life. Enjoy the hospitality of the San Fernando Valley’s Greek community and experience the simple pleasures of life in a Greek village.
